As a Junior at Colorado State University pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, I am also a cadet at Detachment 090 AFROTC. I am contracted to commission into the United State Air Force as a Second Lieutenant upon my graduation in 2026 and hope to enter as an Intelligence Officer.Being a cadet at Detachment 090 equips me with quick-thinking, camaraderie, and integrity. My desire for hard work has pushed me into these opportunities and the aspiration for more experience. Detachment 090 also offers a unique opportunity for cadets to join and lead student organizations. As the new Commander for the Wing Walker Honor Guard, our team aims to develop incoming cadets’ leadership through professional development training that prioritizes tradition, community, and personal excellence. In addition, my experience in the DoD Designing for Defense course challenged me and my team to develop a technical solution for a real-world problem that addresses the DoD, military, and specifically for the US Air Force. By applying and developing our entrepreneurial skills, creativity to national security issues, and building civil-military relations, we aim to answer questions and interact with our sponsors to which we will produce an outcome to help the DoD.
