Experienced marketing manager with over 15 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, revenue management, and analytics. I have a level of knowledge in a broad array of digital marketing skills including Campaign Planning, Search Engine Marketing, CRM Implementation and Strategy, Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Website Management, HTML, Web Analytics, Social Media Marketing, Reputation Management, Content Strategy, and Marketing Analytics. My background is in life sciences and while it might seem like a big jump from molecular biology to marketing, the two disciplines have a lot in common. Having come from a science background, I was used to crunching numbers, interpreting results, and planning long experiments, so I naturally took an interest in data and the analytical side of campaign planning. The skills were similar: meticulous planning, execution, and optimizing results. As a result, I have an affinity for analytics and I am proficient in using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics to help identify the root cause of a business issue and develop an action plan. I have worked remotely for the past 7+ years and have learned how to have an engaging remote presence long before our current circumstances required it. I have worked in a diverse set of international markets including, Latin America and the Caribbean. On every team I have ever worked on, I’ve also been called “Most Optimistic”. I love a challenge and I think there is always a way to ameliorate (or in my case, “ameli-a-rate”) a situation, no matter how dire, and there is always a reason to be hopeful, so I love this moniker. When I’m not optimizing SEM keyword bids, writing a marketing email, creating a pivot table in Excel, or designing A/B tests for a landing page, I am a board member of my local chapter of the Surfrider Foundation, where I work passionately for clean water and healthy beaches with access for everyone.
