Since leaving college I have always had an interest in engaging in further education revolving around psychology. I completed my undergraduate degree Psychology BSc at York St John university and still had not found a deeper interest of research or an area I felt passionate about. Cyberpsychology became something that drew my interest as during lockdown I became an avid technology user, built my own PC and became heavily interested in video games and the community. I completed my dissertation on the experience female gamers had online; which was an achievement in itself, and have now moved on to complete a Cyberpsychology Masters at Nottingham Trent university. I am mostly interested in UX research and Gaming addiction research.During my education I have mainly worked within hospitality and management. This has massively improved my communication and social skills, as well as my team work and leadership skills. I also spent many summers volunteering as a youth worker with NCS which was an amazing experience watching young people grow and become there true self's.
