However, COVID has stymied much of this, and my current role is one of the moment; I ensure our local industry has the information and resources to navigate an unprecedented time, as well working with our board of directors to prepare safe and socially distant events for mental health and emotional support of a ravaged industry. Additionally, I have provided training for upcoming board leaders to prepare them for their roles and produce legacy members for the chapter. Show less

As Director of Education, my duties included researching and sourcing valuable educational speakers for our membership's quarterly educational events. Other duties included managing logistics of travel for speaker, contracting, management of fees, and adhering to board-approved budget for education.
