For several years after graduating from Texas A&M with a BBA in Finance, Amelia worked for a private equity firm focused on manufacturing, services and distribution. While there, she assisted in the acquisition of one of the country’s leading contract packagers of functional beverages for some of the best-known global brands in the industry. It was in working with that company, Carolina Beverage Group, that she discovered her love of the beverage industry. Amelia then went on to work for the world’s largest chain of convenience stores, 7-Eleven, Inc., for many years, in their Mergers & Acquisitions group, assisting in acquiring and integrating over 700 convenience stores. She spent the last few years with Sunoco, LP, an oil and gas wholesaler with franchise convenience stores. During her tenure at Sunoco, she lead the company to realize over $120MM of gains through real estate dispositions, assisted in several mid-stream and downstream acquisitions and oversaw the Organic Growth and Strategy group, putting over $300MM of accretive capital to work. Returning to her love of beverages, Amelia launched RancH2O Spirits in 2019 to give consumers great tasting cocktails packaged conveniently in cans.
