Took ALA 471 that provided me with six facilitation skills: Listening (active, generative), asking questions that produce discussion and reflection, getting participants to ask each other questions and follow up on ideas, encouraging sharing of experiences and ideas, noticing and managing dynamics, planning, and logistics. This prepared me to facilitate the ALA 171 course that teaches students how to build an electronic portfolio.

Worked directly with the Admissions Office to facilitate tours and special events to promote the University.

Certified medical interpreter (Spanish/ English)through the Cross-Cultural Communication Association and Michigan Medicine.

Aided the program by teaching students the English language. Supervised students while their non-English speaking parents participated in college classes in English, to be better equipped for the workforce.

I interned as a camp counselor and lead nature-based activities to inform children ages 6-12 about the Farm. Sprout Creek is a sustainable Dairy farm that hosts year- round programs that are based on getting students to learn more about the environment
