Playin’ Through is an exclusive, up close and personal music experience tailored especially for private golf courses. I began working with this company at its conception after discovering a mutual desire to connect Nashville's country music scene to golf enthusiasts. Each of our events include a cocktail hour before or after the show where guests can mingle with all of our performers. It’s our way of solidifying a connection with your members and participating fully in the exclusive experience we promised. We also host a live auction consisting of multiple signed guitars and a very special golf cart, customized to each club. 100% of these funds go directly to charity.

YEP is a networking platform for young people in the entertainment industry to thrive in a supportive and creative environment that encourages them to collaborate with their peers. I joined YEP as a member after I graduated college and was quickly asked to serve on their leadership council. In the same year, I began planning many of their social events and became an official board member, soon to be Executive Director. I now lead the Nashville chapter, which increased membership by 200% from 10,000 members to now over 30,000. In 2019, we developed and launched our first chapter outside of Nashville, in Los Angeles, with over 1,000 members becoming active members in the first year. As the face of the organization, I regularly meet with board, ambassadors, sponsors, charities, and new members. We work together to plan monthly networking events, creatively themed artist showcases, intimate writer rounds, thoughtfully produced podcast interviews, and virtual educational panels focusing on taboo topics such as mental health.

This artist management company allowed me to work closely with developing artists and all their A&R needs. I set up co-writes with prospective writers and artists, listened through current catalog of songs to carefully select next singles, and coordinated bookings with agents, PR, and other members of their team. When there was need for a new division for songwriters, I took initiative and developed new management division for writer/producers. Each day, I organized calendars for over a dozen writers, producers and artists of pop, country, and faith-based genres. I also proficiently managed and reviewed complex calendars for multiple creative spaces and studios, while maintaining confidentiality and discretion working with artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton. In my position, I represented the company while corresponding with other professionals at industry events throughout the year.

This experience prepared me for the expectations that come with working in a major corporate office, early in my career. As the only assistant on staff, I had my eyes on many contracts and accounts that most creative directors do not have access to. I administered an extensive music catalog and updated deadlines for a broad songwriter roster, in addition to maintaining expense reports and travel itineraries for all creative directors. I designed and coordinated all marketing emails, social media, and events throughout the year, while managing complex schedules including booking travel and meetings for Vice President and General Manager daily.

Katy Robbins is a stylist based in New York City, but she grew up in Nashville and many of her clients are in the country music industry. When Katy needs help in Nashville, I was her go-to assistant. I helped pack up, haul, and arrange outfits at celebrities homes for fittings. I also prepared clients wardrobe on set throughout photo and music video shoots. Most recently I set up a fitting for Ariat Boots with Josh Turner and I assisted Eric Church in music videos "Creepin'" and "Springsteen". I have also assisted in styling Sandi Borchetta, country music fashion stylist and Vice President of Big Machine Records.

TPAC's Review Crew is a 10-person crew whose goal is to build broad discussions about all of next season's shows online and through the media. TPAC is home to the HCA/Tri-star Broadway Series in which we host a six-show season from the best of Broadway currently touring the country. Serving as a Review Crew member keeps me involved in Nashville's community while fueling my passion for musical theater.

Artists & Repertoire is the ears of the music business. At Warner on Music Row, I have my own office on the A&R hall across from Stephanie Haymes, Rebekah Sterk, and Cris Lacy. Scott Hendricks, the head of our department, just celebrated his 50th #1 song as a producer with Blake Shelton's radio hit "Over". I have the privilege of listening to all of the unsolicited music that is brought to the building and record my listening on iTunes and Excel. I also burn music for our A&R reps from various publishing companies on Music Row and all around the world. Through this internship, I have become familiar with publishing companies and songwriters, as well as the artists on Warner's Label.

I took over for the usual receptionist, just while she away for the remainder of the summer. I worked closely with the managers of country music artists Billy Currington, Montgomery Gentry, The Henningsens, and Russell Dickerson. I am very proud of this experience because it was my first official paycheck from working on Music Row!

I was so happy to spend my summer helping UMPG vamp their internship program! I divided my time between this office and my office at Warner Music Nashville, observing the ties between A&R and music publishing. I quickly became familiar with the tape room, organizing & maintained songwriter catalogs in multiple databases. I learned how to work in administration by inputing data into all online computer systems. Furthermore, I took time each day working as the front desk receptionist.

I recorded my first radio ad at Citadel Broadcasting for Cheerwine Cherry Soft Drink and after that, the radio station called me back for every female advertisement available. I was appreciated for my clear speaking and quick recordings. When I moved to Nashville for college, I continued recording advertisements that played on the radio in California. My voice was heard on FM stations KHOP 95.1, KATM 103.3, KWIN 97.7 and KHKK 104.1

I thought it would be fun to work at my favorite restaurant in Nashville. As hostess, I greeted and seated all guests that came through the door. In addition, I answered all phone calls, ran food, and cleaned off tables.

On my very first day of college, I began my very first internship. Chuck Wicks was my favorite country music artist at the time and I had the privilege of controlling his media. I spent most of my time in the office promoting Chuck and the other artists at Nashville To You on all of their social networking sites and selling merch at concerts. I helped put together street teams and designed the graphics for each state's street team. I organized a Chuck Wicks concert at Belmont University and designed the concert flyers and posters.

This demanding job taught me to work well with deadlines, interviews, group meetings, and public speaking. I attended newsroom meetings every monday after school to discuss and plan the teen section of the newspaper. I interviewed local teens from all areas of the Central Valley and my articles were published weekly in The Modesto Bee. After graduating high school, I was featured in The Modesto Bee's Teen Hall of Fame for my achievements.

Adina’s Deck is an educational film series developed, directed, and produced by Debbie Heimowitz for her master's thesis at Stanford University. As Adina, I filmed 12 hours each day for two weekends along with the rest of the all-volunteer cast and crew. Our goal was to send a message to parents, teachers, and students about internet safety and making good decisions. The pilot episode of Adina’s Deck deals with solving cyber bully mysteries and the other episodes deal with internet safety, internet predators, cheating, and plagiarism.Since we created the first episode in May 2008, DVD’s of Adina’s Deck have been sold in all 50 states and over 10 countries and we have over 10 film festival awards. Adina’s Deck has given me the opportunity to speak at numerous assemblies across California. I most recently lead an assembly at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in Southern California for over 1000 middle school students. Being an ambassador for internet safety has greatly impacted the decisions that I make while using the internet, and the way that I present myself on social networking sites. My goal is to teach students about this new epidemic, thus preventing it from causing more problems in society.www.AdinasDeck.com
