I joined PlasmaMed Research, LLC which is now, XeraMed, LLC as a marketing intern. I was made responsible for designing digital and physical recruitment materials to increase visibility to patient communities across the U.S. I worked closely with the Operations Manager to develop patient recruitment marketing campaigns including advertising, community event tabling, and social media. I went on to help the Operations team with scheduling and communicating to biospecimen donors and research clientele. In the office, I worked on the recruitment of research sites domestically and internationally in addition to daily clerical operations.

I joined the FIU Neuroinformatics and Brain Connectivity Lab during my domestic exchange during my undergraduate career at UMass Amherst. I assisted Emily Boeving with collected research data including working with fMRI and BrainMap technologies to analyze social interactions as they pertain to various types of education and attention. Her work utilized the Dynamic Systems framework to develop novel approaches to understanding the interactions between social behavior and functional brain connectivity.
