I am an real estate investor with many roles, some passive and others more active. I have "buy and hold" properties (investment properties) which are more passive. I utilize property managers who deal with the day to day activities so I only have to interact with the property managers periodically.I managed a mobile home park, working closely with the maintenance person and scheduling contractors as needed. I have also interviewed and performed background checks for potential tenants and resolving tenant concerns. I am also responsible for the book keeping for the park.I have also done a" fix and flip" (updating a home and and selling it) with my partners. I understand the life cycle of a renovation from start to finish. The cost and time frame of renovations, the hiring of contractors and the staging and marketing of a property.I currently help investors find renovation projects. I negotiate the price depending on what the investor is looking for. This saves them time and saves them the hassle and headaches of interacting with the seller.
