I am a student at Moulsham High School, where I am studying Maths, Further Maths, and Spanish for my A-levels. I have a strong interest and aptitude for mathematics and finance, and I am eager to pursue a Maths degree at university and a career in the world of finance.I have gained valuable skills and experiences from my extracurricular activities and work experience. I completed the Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards and i am currently working towards my Gold Award. These have taught me how to be resilient, adventurous, and responsible. I have also participated in several online courses and virtual insights, such as the InvestIN Banking Weekend, the U:Bee Money Management Course, and the Barclays Life Skills Virtual Insight. These programs helped me explore different aspects of finance, and enhanced my knowledge and confidence in this field.As a hybrid operator at Boots UK, I honed my communication, customer service, and teamwork skills. I enjoyed speaking to customers, giving advice, and helping them with their needs. I also assisted in the stock room, packing orders and taking on tasks as required. This experience taught me commitment and resilience, as I had to wake up at 6:30 every Saturday morning.At school I am a trained mentor, which I use in my Academic mentoring and Peer-on-peer mentoring. This is an opportunity for me to help the younger students with their mental health and to aim to inspire and encourage them with their work. This has taught me the value of communication and the importance of encouragement. I also volunteer in many extra-curricular activities, such as Netball and Football for years 7-9 and Spanish club, which requires commitment and dedication, which I show throughout the year. Additionally, I started a recreational football club for girls as I noticed there was only one for boys and found this an opportunity to start a girls one.I have strong ethical values and I actively stand up for what i believe in. I thrive in competitive atmospheres and am an outgoing young woman. I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and i really enjoy trying new experiences and meeting new people.
