With over a decade of experience in social impact program development and strategy, I am the deputy director of the Measures for Early Success initiative at MDRC, a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income people. Funded by the Gates Foundation, this initiative aims to empower educators, families, and children in their education journey, and to inform policy and practice at the local and national levels.I lead a multidisciplinary team of innovators, academic experts, lived experts, and users to develop user and equity-centered tools for educators and students, using my skills and expertise in continuous quality improvement (CQI), user experience (UX) research, facilitation, and storytelling. I have a strong track record of bringing together diverse stakeholders and perspectives to create impactful solutions for complex social challenges, such as improving classroom quality and children's learning and developmental outcomes. I am passionate about cultivating spaces where ideas are welcomed and heard, where unexpected problem solving is fostered and encouraged, and where strategic and compassionate storytelling can lead to equitable, sustainable, and implementable outcomes.
