I have recently graudated with a 1st class Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Huddersfield.I have a broad range of skills that a vied variety of different aspects. I gained valuable information from my final year project, in which I was tasked with designing and creating an additively manufactured implant to restore function for a patient who had undergone oral-maxillary surgery as a result of a cancerous tumour. I learned how to read real life medical data and design medical devices and implants to replace lost soft/hard body biological tissues. Finite element analysis was employed to prove the efficacy and feasibility of this design. All performed in SOLIDWORKS.In my current role at DriveWorks as a full time Applications Engineer, I have many roles and have learned many key skills. - SOLIDWORKS modelling and design (Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional) - Supported Engineers in many different industries/sectors - 3D printing and Additive manufacture - SQL Database and data handling - JavaScript/HTML/CSS and Web hosting - Working with clients from around the world - Writing Technical Documentation and creating Technical Documents - Confident and natural presentation skills
