About Jeremy Evans

I am a Drupal Architect and DevOps Engineer.HISTORY: I have built my career with open-source software but I started with troubleshooting radar and military electronics. Modern computing started in 1995 as a CSR for CompuServe using UART commands, 14.4k modems, Telnet and NCSA Mosaic. In the next 4 years, I built rack servers(mail, print, document, backup) for banks, finance companies, and law firms as a Microsoft Certified Professional. In 2001 I switched to OSX and started working in video, motion graphics, animation, UI/UX and front end development and got a certificate from NYU at the CADA (Center for Advanced Digital Applications) in CGI and special effects for film. In 2006 my focus shifted to building open-source platforms primarily on Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP using virtual dedicated machines and hosting small businesses running Drupal. Since 2011 the switch was to building enterprise implementations of open source software for Fortune 500 companies in and around Silicon Valley.
