•Represents the Procurement Function at the location, providing communications, training and advise on all aspects of Procurement•Manages and reviews the service quality and levels provided by central procurement (PSC) to the segments •Monitors and improves local segment compliance with procurement strategies, policies, processes and procedures•Provides local hands on support in case of critical requests and executes small spot purchases and emergency purchases of goods and services for the site•Provides support to segments on new job planning and/or complex procurement requirements•Provides support to PSC in cases where local supplier knowledge/contact is required ie obtaining specialist quotes•Depending on Location, performs ‘Sourcing’ functions for allocated group of local non critical suppliers (ie assigned as SML) •Depending on Location, can lead a team of procurement specialists•Acts as the day to day single point of contact for the central procurement function towards the owned site(s) / GM•Identifies productivity actions with Site Management and bring back information to the central Procurement function•Reports on a regular basis on the performance levels and quality of the PSC•Liaises with PSC BPI on preparation of PSC service level reports and feedback on improvement suggestions•Meets on a regular basis with internal customers to review PSC service levels and quality•Manages local suppliers’ relationships and participates to local supplier assessments, if required
