    I designed, cloned, analysed, and tested the therapeutic efficacy of unique, selectively replicating adenoviruses for the potential treatment of cancer. I manufactured oncolytic adenoviruses with a range of therapeutic genes to maximize their potential efficacy. Using cancer-specific promoters I controlled adenoviral replication to cancer cells only leaving normal cells unharmed. Through SPECT/CT imaging I also quantifed therapeutic efficacy of my oncolytic adenoviruses allowing dynamic monitoring of safety and efficacy of this new therapy.
