I am an attorney licensed in California and Hawaii with a solo practice located in Los Angeles, CA. My practice is focused on litigation and trial work, but I also handle a wide variety of matters in other areas. Since 2018, my practice has been overtaken with requests to assist plaintiffs who lost homes or were injured in California and Hawaii wildfires, such as the Woolsey, Thomas, and Maui fires. I worked as a judicial extern for the Court of Appeal for the Second District. I also contributed to the research, writing, and editing of Criminal Pretrial Advocacy by Pepperdine University Distinguished Jurist in Residence Terry Adamson. While working at the litigation firm of Howarth & Smith, I was lead associate on several cases involving trial work of varying complexity. I further developed my courtroom experience as a volunteer prosecutor for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. I continue to work on cases with Howarth & Smith and other firms in LA as outside counsel. In 2013 I received a mayoral commendation for outstanding legal prowess for a $7,500,000 settlement negotiated on behalf of my clients. Prior to my legal career, I received my degrees in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Oxford University in the United Kingdom. I returned to California after my study in the U.K. to attend the UC Berkeley School of Law for my J.D. After law school, I lived and worked in the Republic of Korea for a year before taking the California Bar exam in 2011.If you or someone you know is having trouble or confusion with the law, please don't hesitate to contact me.
