Relying on values instilled during his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Metcalfe, serving as CEO and CTO of NTI, recruited and lead his NTI executive team to build the Pacific Northwest’s premier wholesale telecommunications provider to the nation’s top wireless and wired carriers seeking access to rural markets. After growing company revenues significantly, Mr. Metcalfe sold NTI to Zayo Bandwidth Northwest and performed a successful post-M&A technical and operational integration of NTI into Zayo. Mr. Metacalfe is able to view problems from a systemic standpoint and develop/implement creative technical and operational solutions that take into account the “big picture.” He is knowledgeable in the implementation of fiber, SONET, IP and Ethernet networks over DWDM networks. He has a proven ability to devise creative solutions in the network design and implementation; particularly mobile communications systems, CDMA, GSM, and wireless switching, and maintenance of VoIP systems including all facets, such as SBC, softswitches and feature servers using multiple protocols, including SIP and MGCP.Innovative self-starter.
