Amethyst's research explores whether our behavior on social media makes us better or worse people according to the four cardinal virtues, making her a prequel contribution to rising dialogues involving technology ethics.As an instructor, Amethyst meshes philosophy with relevant experiences of her students. Through her use of mixed media, seminar, and lecture-style instruction, Amethyst’s goal for her students is to appreciate how philosophy is present in every day life and its relationship with tech.
