DeBugger is an educational multiplayer online game for students of Java at SFSU, to fight the 'bugs' by answering questions of Java in order to advance in the game along with customizing avatar, socialize and become a part of a virtual, educational community of other students. Role: Developer• Technologies used: Python, Java, MySQL, Panda3D - a game engine, Blender, Amazon EC2• Tested server scalability using Amazon EC2 cloud. Testing was conducted with generating maximum of 100 client instances and running them concurrently.• Worked on the 3D character modeling in the game. Developed characters for the game using the blender software.• Used blender for creating 3D models, rigging, skinning, textures and adding animations of walk, run, jump etc. • Using chicken software exported the characters and added them to the game.• Created a “help” section as a reference guide into the game.• Created an "item shop" section of the game where players can buy items such as health portions, accessories.
