The continuous mission preparedness of the Headquarters Platoon was my most recent primary responsibility within the unit. I was responsible for ensuring the proper training, outfitting, and counseling of all platoon members. To ensure constant mission preparedness I had to ensure constant soldier and platoon readiness.

The primary responsibility of this job was to ensure the continuous mission effectiveness of the Louisiana Army National Guard by successfully recruiting new qualified soldiers and retaining the force of adapt soldiers that were already mission ready. The secondary responsibility was to insure the successful relationship between the community and the Louisiana Army National Guard by conducting community outreach/relations programs.
