Lead the IT Customer Solutions organization (Technology Service Desk, Technology Support Representatives, Hardware Team, Escalations Team, and O365/SharePoint Development Team) in providing superior customer service support to Members, Committees and House offices. Develop comprehensive project plans and procedures delivering efficient and effective administration of critical asset protection activities. Oversee an $2.1M operating budget.• Implement forward-thinking customer and technology support best practices, policies, and standards in alignment with CAO and HIR strategic objects that fuel high-quality assistance for Congressional Members, Committees, and House administrative offices.• Integrate new desktop and mobile technologies across House offices, while supplying responsive technical support to users.• Ensure seamless transition activities as department’s lead for Congressional Transition, regularly contributing new policies and best practices designed to address all relative required actions, while implementing technology needed to support planned activities.• Managed technology project lifecycles, participating with project teams to support Customer and Technology Support division tasks, resources, and timelines within project plans.• Oversee personnel management activities, including performance reviews and evaluations, interviewing and employment recommendations, staff counseling, employee development training, and development of policies. • Prepare Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ), evaluate requests for services, perform studies and execute special reviews to determine possible cause of action in response to the request for services.
