With over 25 years’ experience in both business and technology, David Groot is the president of Windstar Technologies, Inc in Culpeper Virginia, founded in 2004.Windstar Technologies, Inc. was found to fill a void in support options for the small business community in Culpeper and surrounding counties. David and Windstar bring enterprise level IT solutions to small business, allowing them to capitalize on their technology investment and grow their business.David started his career as a private consultant working closely with a local Internet Provider, back in the early days of Internet dial-up access. Having a thirst for more knowledge led him to advance his career and training in network topology, specifically using Microsoft Network Technologies for implementing local networks for business in Culpeper. This path led him to get certified with Microsoft as a MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).From the beginning David has had a knack for breaking down the technical jargon to the not so technical. As a technical trainer David has worked with clients like BMW, and ABN Amro Bank amongst many others developing enterprise support systems and training their system admins to implement it.
