After a long career in human resources and as a further and higher education lecturer, I have recently trained as an independent celebrant with the International College of Professional Celebrants. Over the last few years, I have felt increasingly drawn to this role, realising that my life experiences and natural empathy and warmth give me a solid base to be able to help people celebrate and commemorate the important milestones in life.
