About Amir H Imani

Amir Imani holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Adult Education from University of Toronto, Canada. For many years he worked at the Department of Psychiatry of University of Toronto, and he has studied and practiced the effect of mind-body integration in mental health since year 2000. He has undergone MBSR Teacher Training Program at the Centre for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and has been teaching MBSR to different groups including corporate staff and executives since then. Through his personal and professional interest in Mind-Body-Heart Medicine, Amir has trained with pioneer teachers including Drs. Jon Kabat Zinn, Saki Santorelli. He is the co-founder/director of the Centre for Mindfulness India, and the founding director of Centre for Mindfulness at Atieh General Hospital in Tehran, Iran. Amir holds workshops and retreats internationally.
