Licensed Clinical Social Worker
CurrentOffering professional evidence-based treatments to members with a full range of psychiatric disorders. Knowledge of administration, scoring, and interpretation of select psychological and psycho-social measures to properly assess member's needs. Sophisticated understanding of behavioral risk management and ability to engage appropriate protections as needed when risk of harm to self or others is present. Conducts intakes and other forms of psychological assessments and psychometric test. Gather’s appropriate data and formulates relevant assessment of member’s medical, social, and emotional situations. With the use of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) evaluates psychiatric disorders and applies diagnostic skills to plan and provide short-term problem resolution or refer clients for clinical treatment. Treats and cares for psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients, counsels’ clients with behavioral and personal or psychological problems, and assists with command consults. Periodically revises member’s treatment plans on the basis of comprehensive and ongoing psychosocial assessment of concerns, strengths, needs, clinical impressions, and issues. Provides direct clinical services, which may include individual, crisis intervention, facilitating education, support groups and linkage with resources to member’s, families, and staff.
