I served on the Executive Committee of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and also on a number of the Board's standing committees. Previously, I served as NIRI's Board representative to the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI). I co-chaired the 2010 NIRI annual conference in June in San Diego. More than 1,200 professionals attended the four-day NIRI annual conference, which featured general sessions, breakout sessions, networking events and social activities.

I served as a member of the Board of Directors of The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago (TVC) from 2004-2010 and previously completed two terms as Board Secretary before serving as Vice President of the Board from 2007-2010. TVC annually places some 15,000 volunteers with more than 140 social service agencies and other organizations in Chicago's northwest and north suburban areas.
