Finished a two year program at Lansing Community College for Aviation Maintenance Mechanic. Currently have an Airframe Certification, will have my Poweplant Certification within the month.First year involved: • Hydraulics, fuels and instruments. • Structures, riveting and welding on aircrafts• Gained the knowledge of aircraft mechanics, electrical, avionics, and rules and regulations posted by the FAA. Second year: • Gained the knowledge of reciprocating engines and turbo powered engines. • Took apart magnetos and carburetors and rebuilt to running condition. • Received certifications in General, Airframe and Powerplant from LCC Maintenance program. Currently have my Airframe certification through the FAA and will be testing for my Powerplant certification in the near future.
