A dynamic and creative non-profit development professional with a track record of success with fundraising and donor management. Over 20 years experience in the for-profit corporate arena and 8 years in non-profit management leadership. Expertise in Marketing/Communications, Outreach/Sales, Training/Development, Organizational Effectiveness.Most recently, I led the development/fundraising and marketing communications efforts for the Madison Area YMCA, a large regional YMCA with 3 locations, 9000+ members and $13mm in operating revenues. I led the rollout of a successful Capital Campaign which raised over $7.5m. Managing a staff of eight, I was responsible for the strategy, planning and implementation of annual fundraising initiatives including three significant "flagship" fundraising events annually which saw growth year on year. Under my leadership, fundraising yielded over $850K in contributed revenue per year. I was responsible for cultivating and recruiting volunteer leadership, managing Board committees and soliciting major gifts. Oversaw grant research and writing and corporate sponsorship funding proposals. Led the strategy, planning and execution of all marketing and PR for the YMCA; messaging, advertising, PR copywriting, production of collateral, both print and social media. Prior to my role at the YMCA, I served as the Marketing, Fundraising & Communications Manager for Worldwide Orphans, a global non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of orphaned and at risk children and launched the organization's social media and website. I also led the start up of a New Jersey program for a girl-serving non-profit organization based in CA, including managing all aspects of the business.
