In 1993 I felt that it was time for me to once again enter the workforce after having two children. I found a job and put my little ones in daycare. Childcare expenses were eating me alive and I missed my children terribly. One day I walked into the daycare center to pick up my children and asked if they were hiring. Long story short, they hired me as the preschool teacher ( I had the best of both worlds. My children and income). I was later promoted to Assistant Director and teacher for the afterschool children. In October of 2000, the center had to close its doors due to the fact that the franchise chains had the funds to offer more modern technology to the children. At that time, I went back to being a full time mom and loved it. Then in 2004, my children were growing more independent and I decided it was time to go back into the workforce. I went to work at Courtesy Nissan as a Receptionist/Showroom Assistant. I later transferrred to Courtesy Nissan's sister-dealership until I was offered the wonderful opportunity to enter the legal field. I went to work at The Wright Firm, LLP, in May of 2005 and am still there today. I love the legal profession and all of the challenges that it has to offer.
