I am completing an associates degree in medical billing and coding with the intentions of entering this changing field with a fresh mind focused on the positive direction of health care and apply my education to ensure patient and employer satisfaction.After graduation I will be taking the exam with the AAPC to become a certified professional coder. I am focused on the coding aspects of billing. I understand the importance of correct coding and how it relates to the revenue cycle.I'm currently working as a receptionist and have solid experience with front end operations and how they are essential to the billing cycle. I am also currently completing an internship that is providing me with experience in the entire reimbursement cycle, from the front end operations to the back office operations.
