  I am the desk officer for partnerships with Member States from the Middle East and North Africa in the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. My main goal is to advocate for support to humanitarian crises with UN Member States and to build partnerships through bilateral engagement, events and programs. Further, I am responsible for events and briefing logistics working in tandem with colleagues from across OCHA and with our Member State partners to deliver successful events that raise awareness; promote partnership and mobilize resources. In my day to day, our efforts are focused on listening to partners; thinking creatively to promote engagement; supporting UN Member States with information and liaising with other UN Offices and Agencies to support humanitarian crises. I also serve as our branch gender focal point where I work closely with the gender team to promote gender equality and to support ensuring humanitarian response for women and girls.
