Upon purchase of S.R. Kertzer Ltd., was hired as Web Developer for the 8 independent yarn companies owned by Coats and Clark. Responsible for the design and maintenance of 8 brand websites using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Azure, as well as CMS interfaces.

As an independent contractor, managed a team of 2 employees and exclusively developed print and web design materials for S.R. Kertzer, a yarn manufacturer. Design projects included: ball bands for new yarns, design and layout of pattern booklets, promotional brochures, trade show posters, price lists. Ensuring consistent branding through both print and web mediums. Website backend and frontend design, website maintenance to update new products, specials, discontinued products.

Rent, buy, or sell property for clients. Research of market trends and comparables, write and design own marketing materials; sell sheets, newspaper ads. Discuss conditions of sale, and draw up real estate contracts. Top 10% in 2004.

Project Manager for build out and move to new corporate office. Act as on site PM contact for Ticketmaster Construction PM from California Head Office, assist with selection of general contractor, sub-contractors, telephony, data, finishing, furniture. Resolve unforeseen infrastructure issues. Coordinate corporate move with moving company, management, employees. Completed on time. Upon completion, received “Employee of the Month” in April 2003.

Managed a team of 8+ Help Desk Support analysts on Web ticketing software. Handled issue escalation when required. Responsible for new agent hires and training. Scheduled analysts to provide a 24/7 support environment.

Bilingual end user IT support for entire Canadian operations, including sales representatives across Canada, Montreal Sales Office and Canadian Head Office in Mississauga. Handled administration within the Job Placement department. This included the timely posting of new employment opportunities, entering and maintaining candidate information in a computer program, answering phone calls and queries from clients and staff. Due to computer advancements and the dos-based CRM software becoming obsolete, successfully copied the database structure into Access 2.0. This saved the company from paying the original programmer to develop a Windows 95 version.
