I manage and provide sustainable solutions for the three manufacturing facilities in the Michelin Lanka, which are Kotugoda Tire Plant (KTD), Wheel Manufacturing Plant (WMD), and Ancillary Product Division (APD) to increase their equipment uptime, reliability, and efficiency. I have been able to analyze more than +500 equipment failure data to identify patterns & trends and develop and implement solutions to prevent breakdowns.Furthermore, I have reduced number of breakdowns & downtime 50% within 1,5 years in WMD plant, while applying reliability analysis modeling which are root case analysis, machine failure mode equipment analysis, equipment critical analysis, and implementing new maintenance strategies.Moreover, in APD plant I could be able to reduced 50% of the oil consumption in 2023, while implementing Lubrication Development Program (LPD), which include implement world-class lube storage facility, implemented Lubrication Identification System, monitoring oil leakage issues and implementing actions, improving oil quality while standardization hydraulic reservoirs and gear boxes etc. This was lead to reduce 50% of cost of the oil consumption, as well as reduce the dispose oil to the environment.Inaddition, I could able to find new technologies & processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability.
