Highlights:• During this internship, I was able to gain hands on experience with the geophysical surveying tools mentioned below, collect data with a team of early carrier scientists, and use the acquireddata to tackle real life problemsTasks:• Completed lectures and training sessions on geophysical surveying methods• Assisted in gathering Audio Magnetotelluric, Magnetotelluric, Electromagnetic Traverse, Seismic, Ground Penetrating Radar, and Temperature logging data• Characterized the Santa Fe (New Mexico) drinking water aquifers based on depth, geological,chemical, and temperature differences

Highlights:• During this work I gained valuable experience in collecting active source seismic data over a vast distance (300km). This data was used to understand continental collision and drift (230-290 MYA)Tasks:• Supervised northern deployment teams• Deployed Texan data loggers and geophones using satellite GPS• Recovered deployed equipment successfully• Assisted in creating seismic waves by detonating ammonium nitrate emulsions
