•Responsible for controlling and monitoring total project expenditure, including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.•Recognize project revenue, ensure that IFRS 15 is applied to projects, and calculate project POC. •Record project cost and revenue data in an access database and summarize it with data modeling using power pivot and power query and make needed reports to the financial controller.•Performance analysis by identifying and analyzing deviations and trends against the budgets. Investigating such deviations with the relevant group and advising the financial controller of issues requiring corrective action.•Ensure reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis between project cost reports and Accounting Department cost and billing information.•Follow up costing system related to each business unit.•Attend and represent in meetings concerning cost matters•Monitoring and analyzing overhead costs and distributing them with appropriate cost drivers.•Reviews cost allocation plans and methodology monthly to determine whether modifications are necessary.•Making Indirect cost follow-up table analyzing its value, forecasting and reviewing the project completion cost periodically.•Analyze and explain main monthly variances and their effect on the end of the project.•Collect main quantities from QS or engineers and check their consistency with site progress.•Assisting in month-end closing and preparing to adjust entries•Follow up accruals and advances related to each subcontractor and supplier.•Reconcile inter-company balances.•Provide external auditors with the needed assistance to help them achieve their process effectively and efficiently.•Review all purchasing orders and contracts terms of payment and review certificates of social insurance on construction works.
