I am a Senior Barrister/Employment Legal Counsel with over 25 years experience. I provide clients with commercial and strategic advice on all aspects of employment law, including international employment issues arising in EMEA and Asia Pacific. I also advise on data privacy issues arising in the employment context. I have held multiple sole senior employment counsel positions with leading multinational companies and in private practice with top-tier US law firms. I have extensive experience and expertise in dealing with highly complex issues such as competitive activities, whistleblowing, team moves, discrimination, investigations and managing employee relations, multi-jurisdictional restructuring, large-scale redundancies and TUPE/Automatic Transfer issues arising in international mergers and acquisitions, divestments and global sourcing agreements. I have advised on complex and high value High Court and Employment Tribunal claims and on regulatory issues with the FCA. I am a contributing author of Global Employee Privacy and Data Security Law and Sourcing World. I have provided employment training to clients, and have written employment related articles which are widely published in legal publications such as PLC Law, Bloomberg, Quarterly Law Journal, The Law Society Gazette and Lexology. Most recently, I was a contributing author of “troublesome team moves published in PLC magazine in January 2019.
