I am the Northern Ireland Development Officer and Women in Sport Programme Support for Triathlon Ireland. I work to increase participation and inclusion in triathlon in Ireland and support clubs, leaders and coaches to develop.I am also the Female Lead on the Equality Sub Committee for the Canoe Association NI. We advise on the delivery of the CANI Equality Action Plan, including compliance with equality regulations.I have recently joined the Board of the NI Sports Forum who are the recognised umbrella organisation for the voluntary sector of sport in Northern Ireland.I graduated from Ulster University with a First Class Honours Degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a Diploma in Professional Practice (International) (distinction) in 2019. I have also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Graduate Leadership with Distinction with Ulster University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Software Development with Distinction with Queens University, Belfast.I was previously employed in Business Operations at PwC Operate, in the Conflicts Team. We managed conflicting and sensitive engagements and minimised reputational risk to the firm.I was also previously employed by the Female Sports Forum as a Project Manager and then Digital Marketing Manager. I worked to raise the profile and awareness of female sport; through increasing participation, creating new leaders and raising awareness. I ran events, workshops and courses and managed the website and social media platforms.I have previously worked as a rowing and gymnastics coach, as well as an outdoor recreation instructor and Sports Tutor.
