About Amin Amin

As a serial social entrepreneur, Amin has been working to transform human capacity solutions into successful business ventures. His main aim is contributing to the creation of a new generation of proactive knowledge workers who are empowered with positive Attitudes, 21st century Skills and relevant Knowledge and who are capable of positively contributing to their communities and work environments. His main focus has been reform of education systems and injecting innovative new learning models. Holding a PhD in Urban Planning and a Masters degree in Architecture, both from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, have contributed to his commitment to offer youth in the Arab world similar quality educational opportunities.Amin is currently the CEO of HTUPlus (CAVT), a national initiative of the Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) to reform the vocational training and education (TVET) in Jordan. Objective of HTUPlus is being Jordan lighthouse for TVET reform. Amin previous extensive experience in basic education in Jordan and across the MENA region provided him with solid grounds to undertake the current responsibilities and ambition of HTUPlus.Amin is also a board member of ASK Arabia, a holding company with three subsidiaries in the MENA:1- ASK for Human Capacity Building (Amman - Jordan) founded 20112- ASK Training & Consulting L.L.C (Abu Dhabi - UAE) founded 20143- ASK for Human Capacity Building (Doha - Qatar) founded 2013.ASK is a social enterprise dedicated to the provision of human capacity building services in the Arab region. ASK proved to be a leading provider of professional development services and a driving force for Education Reform in the MENA.Amin is also a partner at Ajyal Capital, an investment fund for preschools in the MENA region.Previously Amin founded two other successful education ventures CADER (ChangeAgent for Arab Development & Education Reform) and CMEAC (Connecting Middle East Advisers & Consultants).In 2015 Amin was awarded the Global Social Impact Award by Endeavor Global Network. In 2013, Amin was recognized as the 2013 Endeavor Global Advocate and as the Mentor of the Year 2013 by the Mowgli Foundation. In 2012, he was ranked the 119th Most Influential Arab in the World in the coveted Arabian Business Power List: Power 500.
