About Amina Shakeel
Hi! ☀️ I’m Amina, a natural people person with a clear ability to engage cross-culturally, sustain research projects, and pursue what I find interesting. May 2024 grad with a degree in Human Rights, Social Impact & Responsibility in Business, and Sociology. I love to read!I’m currently thinking about digital authoritarianism or the weaponization of technology by governments, political repression on campus, and racial bias in AI.Past projects have covered everything from fair labor practices in garment supply chains and delivering aid to conflict zones, to elementary climate sustainability and the developmental state.I'm quite optimistic about the things I'm learning and am looking to be part of something greater than my self. In my leisure time I enjoy reworking thrifted clothes, watching documentaries, and learning languages. In the next decade I hope to crystallize my French, Spanish, Arabic, and Urdu, all through immersion.
