Thesis work:Developing a localisation module for AGV in an industrial environment.Comparing between different localisation algorithms (AMCL, GMCL, Cartographer)Implement glass detection algorithm based on LIDAR scans.Solving the 'kidnapped Robot' problem using a Deep learning approach based on 2D LiDAR scans only, which outperforms the other methods. The DL method decreases the global localisation time to less than 1 second in a huge map with a position error of <0.4m and orientation error of <0.5°.
