I had the opportunity to live an extraordinary experience between 2001 and 2006 as a president of ATUGE in France, the association of tunisian alumni and students of french Grandes Ecoles. During my mandate I have profoundly transformed ATUGE from a students and young graduates association into a dynamic network and performant organization. Things have been made possible by building a shared ambitious vision with a small team of very talented and bright young people, and then harnessing people and energies in our netowrk, developing partnerships, and executing a disruptive change in positionning, image, organization, actions and impact. Within 5 years :-Our network grew from less than 900 people most of them "dormant"​ members to more than 3000 most of them truly connected and active. We made our membership directory online and developped a sort of "linkedIn"​ in 2002 with features allowing members to update their data and interact with each others ... -We expanded our organization by revitalizing our Tunisian branch (almost 50% of our network members are based in Tunisia). We also created an open organizational framework to allow the cdevelopment of local branches in France: Lyon, Grenoble, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Nice and Lille... And then in London (ATUGE UK).-We created vertical business clubs to attract more seniors and let them develop more business-oriented value and networking-oriented events : Club Finance, Club Technologies, Club Entrepreneurs ...-We transformed, year after year, our flagship event "the Forum ATUGE", from a Tunis-based recruitment event attracting a dozen companies and around 200 participants, to one of the most notorious business and talents events in Tunisia: 3 days, 3 locations (Tunis, Paris and London), conferences, Start-up village, Associative village, more than 40 exhibitors, up to 1000 visitors in Paris, 2000 visitors in Tunis, wide media coverage ...
