About Amine Kebichi

As a Software Developer with upwards of 5 years in Full Stack development, I have learned a lot and gained a lot of experience navigating professional life. I have also had to overcome many hurdles in my career. My experience at General Motors came to a screeching halt when we learned that the entire site would be shutdown within a months notice. The life I started in Arizona and all of my amazing colleagues that I worked with would disappear from my life like a blink of an eye. Nonetheless, this has taught me an important lesson in resilience. What is meant for you will come to be. What is not will pass. And with all of the experience I have, I have seen a lot come to pass. I worked alongside multiple teams of engineers. I have designed, developed, and deployed countless software solutions. And I plan to continue using my skills, learning and exploring new technologies.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I graduated in May 2020, and I plan to continue contributing to the advancement and innovation of the software industry, and to create solutions that make a positive impact on society.

Listed skills include Leadership, Social Media, Public Speaking, Linux, and 31 others.

Course Instructor

Miami, Florida, United States

As a Lead Instructor at iD Tech, I was expected to be a professional on two fronts. One, as an educator, and the second, as a mentor. I was responsible for teaching my class of 10-15 students the insides and outs of Machine Learning while also leading enrichment activities and looking after the students' wellbeing. I had a great time, it was the first time I had done any kind of 'camp-counseling' and it was a very fun balance between instructing and showing the students around the University of Miami campus (where the course was located). This is the overall synopsis of my role at iD Tech:- Led class focused on machine learning and artificial intelligence fundamentals to 15 students at a software development academy at the University of Miami. - Leveraged Keras & TensorFlow to teach students to build and test convolutional neural networks- Participated in workshops to educate students about Linux, Jupyter Notebook, & GitHub- Collaborated with a team of 3 ML experts in order to continuously evaluate, iterate, & improve the learning platform.
