Led the R&D team, overseeing the technology roadmap and strategy, while managing R&D leads across full-stack development, data science, and engineering. Recently led a cross-functional team to automate and productize an LLM-based feature, guiding development from design to implementation and collaborating with Microsoft’s FastTrack team to design the underlying architecture.

Led the migration of the company’s infrastructure to Azure, establishing necessary security, access controls, governance policies, and alerts. Migrated the code base to Azure DevOps and implemented CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of platform components, including web apps, APIs, Python artifacts, and data pipelines.Drove the adoption of Databricks and DeltaLake as the backbone of our data microservices, and developed internal Databricks Python libraries to simplify lakehouse data access and processing. Managed the Knowledge Graph (KG) team, automating the construction of a large-scale knowledge graph in the private markets sector with over 40 billion edges.

The first project focused on developing and training a machine learning model to predict a startup’s success rate in real-time using financial and social data. The model was deployed using Azure Machine Learning Service. The second project involved the automatic creation of a knowledge graph from a large corpus of scientific texts, utilizing fast key-phrase extraction and topic clustering models.

Led a strategic project for the largest bank in the country, leveraging customer data and machine learning to create value. Key focus areas included: conducting exploratory and explanatory analysis on product diversification and customer retention, performing customer segmentation to propose tailored products, evaluating agency performance with a new approach, and developing an up-selling/cross-selling model through association analysis.

Developed and trained a deep learning model to detect and classify traffic cones of various sizes and colors in real time, using data I collected and annotated. I packaged the model into a mobile app, which was deployed for use in the university’s autonomous vehicles.

Worked on developing an Android app to assist students in searching for and locating books within the university library. My responsibilities included designing a user-friendly interface, implementing a search function, and real-time book location tracking. Additionally, the project involved creating a real-time 3D navigation system of the university, which could be experienced using VR headsets, enhancing the user experience by providing an immersive way to explore and navigate the campus.

In the water desalination division of OCP Group, I assisted with the monitoring and maintenance of desalination processes, optimized workflows, and contributed to the overall efficiency of the division. This experience provided me with a solid understanding of industrial-scale water desalination and the opportunity to work closely with a team of skilled professionals in a high-stakes environment.​
