Fatima came in at short notice to lead a team of 12 staff over a difficult period of transition until the substantive post holder joined the trust.She worked exceptionally hard with no supervision and minimal senior management support.Her key achievements during this assignment include:• Validating the draft budgets for 2013/14 – a total of £280m and sending them out successfully through Business Objects instead of excel which was a considerable business benefit and automated a manual process;• Improvement of the Management Information Pack i.e. Board Reporting Pack and Forecast;• Liaison with the Trusts shared service provider (ELFS) – Successfully getting them to perform to their SLA’s; • Developed an investment proposal for new computers for the finance team to facilitate improved work performance;• Team Management including performance managing one team member, recruiting a new team member and covering absence.Fatima has received outstanding feedback from the team members and the Director of Finance.
