About Amin Gharibi
My Name is Amin Gharibi. Around 2014, I got acquainted with Smart City and tried to increase my knowledge in this field. I completed the Smart City specialized course at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, and then at the World Bank Group. In 2022, at the invitation of South Korea, I participated in the specialized course on sustainable and smart cities.In these years, I tried to take actions based on the potentials and challenges that I had examined in Iran, which I will mention a few things:1- Establishment of Smart City Research Center of Iran in collaboration with University of Tehran in 20182- The idea of registering the Smart City National Day in Iran's calendar3- The idea of preparing a smart city ecosystem map in Iran and identifying the stakeholder and players.4- The idea of establishing a Smart City Hub with regard to providing complete services of the smart city supply chain.5- Holding training courses at the levels of city managers, students, researchers and citizens6- The idea of developing a system and platform for ranking Iran's smart cities (based on ITU and U4SSC)7- The idea of ideology is smartismIn this way, I was able to provide consulting and executive services to many cities and municipalities in the field of smart transformation and smart city, and I established close relations with various international countries such as South Korea, Spain, America, Australia, Poland, Austria, Switzerland, etc., and I gained experience and knowledge from the leading countries in this field.Currently, I am the smart city projects manager at Fanap (Digital Transformation Center), and at the same time I am the product manager of the national Internet of Things project in the telecommunications company, and I am a advisor to the smart city and municipality strategic plan of Hamedan.
