As the Vice President of Investor Relations, Treasury & Administration at TMX Group, I am responsible for overseeing several key functions within the organization.My primary focus is on building and maintaining transparency with the investment community. In this capacity, I develop and execute comprehensive investor relations strategies that ensure clear and open communication with our stakeholders. I also manage all investor communications, including regular updates, investor presentations, and earnings calls, to ensure that investors are well-informed about the company's activities and performance.In addition to investor relations, I oversee treasury operations. This includes managing the company's cash flow, developing cash management strategies, and ensuring that our financial resources are effectively allocated. I also manage facilities and offices to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively.My goal is to ensure TMX Group maintains a high level of transparency with its investors and effectively manages its resources. I am committed to ensuring that our facilities and offices run smoothly, enabling the company to achieve its strategic objectives.

I led the investor relation function at TMX and worked closely with the CFO to develop and execute our investor relations strategy. I also coordinated our investor outreach program with a proactive approach through conferences and road shows. I worked with the management team to ensure we had a consistent tone and focus on key messaging for each quarter. I managed our quarterly reporting, including drafting the MD&A and Press release, investor relations website, and the analyst call.

I managed and coached a high performance finance team of 10 that oversee TMX’s enterprise performance management framework, including planning, corporate management reporting, and responsibility to facilitate the strategic coordination and governance of TMX initiatives across the Enterprise. I was a critical contributor to the formation and execution of TMX’s strategic plan. by working with the business units and corporate functions, I provided leadership within TMX to ensure investments result in the highest possible return and are aligned to TMX’s overall strategic objectives.I was part of the core committee responsible for defining and executing our approach to future of work post COVID pandemic. I also led our transformation project for Non-GAAP disclosures.

I was responsible for managing a global based team of 12 people, which operate the full contract, license reporting and billing process for TMX Datalinx proprietary services which accounts for over 20% of the annual revenue for TMX Group Ltd.

I managed a team of contract analysts within the Client Management group at TMX. I was also responsible for revamping the existing business processes by introducing innovative technological solutions to allow for bench marking and integration of critical billing data with other enterprise systems.

I relocated back to Canada to help execute a new finance organizational structure which combined the traditional FP&A and Accounting teams to better serve the business units. The responsibilities of my team expanded to include journal entries and month-end accounting close, in addition to management reporting, quarterly forecast and annual strategy and budget cycles.

I was the TMX Market Insights FP&A partner as well as the financial controller for TMX Atrium, a Global Infrastructure subsidiary of TMX with its head office in London. My team was in charge of management reporting, annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts, evaluating new business initiatives, and assessing acquisitions and divestitures. I also ran the business operations and financial transaction services for TMX Atrium business including pre-sales, A/R and A/P, management reporting, Payroll, VAT, US and HST Sales Tax and bad debt collection.

I supported TSX Equity Markets and TMX Information Services with annual budgets, forecasts, and new business initiatives. The role required an in depth understanding of the underlying business lines in order to support each group with financial and strategic decision making for ongoing operations and new business initiatives. Coordination of efforts across multiple functional groups, interaction with senior executives, and monthly and quarterly reporting and presentations.

I managed the consolidation of Rogers Media Inc financials and coordination of the quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategy process. I worked closely with the FP&A managers across 6 business units within Rogers Media as well as senior management in corporate and support functions.

I initially joined this internet marketing company on a part-time basis to help them develop and execute a growth-oriented strategic business plan. I was offered a full-time position upon completion of the MBA program to assist with performance and cash-flow optimization initiatives.
