I was hired to execute on a new company vision (development of a digital Wattmeter, new line of antennas for base stations, and products for the DAS market as well as monitoring /evolutions of 44D and new testing capabilities). I led teams of up to 8 across mechanical, electrical, firmware, RF, and antenna disciplines, including new product development and technology refresh for existing product lines. I coordinated engineering and executive-level product lifecycle phases, from early development through release to production (RTP). I create product data sheets, product documentation, and product definitions as part of technical marketing responsibilities, and manage an annual budget. Among my achievements:❖Led the organization to achieve its first new product development and rollout in over 2 decades. Built a portfolio of IP for the company in the form of trade secrets and patent applications.❖Developed and launched the 44D product line from the ground up, with a significant amount of new product sales to date. Overcame multidisciplinary engineering challenges to ensure successful rollout.❖Built an engineering lab, brought in testing equipment, and automated process to fix a previous gap in testing processes and equipment. Additionally, led the build-out of a custom test set-up for antennas. Enabled the company to produce accurate test data and share product testing knowledge.❖Led a technology refresh on existing duplexers, adding COTS components and creating a new DAS product that serves the DAS market, as well as a new antenna design for the iDAS market.

I supported application engineering with direct customer engagements, completing antenna designs for wearable electronics. I worked jointly with applications engineers on customer requirements, and collaborated with mechanical engineers and electrical layout engineers on integration of antenna into the rest of the PCB, reporting to the CTO. Notably, I:❖Completed rapid prototyping of antennas for wireless charging IoT and wearables, including design of an antenna for a wearable bracelet (adding capacity to charge bracelet’s electronics).

I managed a broad range of duties within a start-up environment, from designing the company website to developing a prototype that would allow the company to produce successful demos. I supervised team member and reported directly to the company founder. I oversaw mm-wave innovation through product development activities, and established and maintained relationships with fabrication and assembly vendors. I contributed to proposal writing and business development support activities, and provided technical support for multiple clients on RF/Antennas/integration topics. Past successes:❖Contributed to the building of PC boards that are still in use today (www.majasystems.com/evk). Developed 2 versions of RF solution: WR-15 to waveguide-based antenna and on-board interconnect to PCB-based antenna array used today in EVKs.❖Drove mm-wave innovation that resulted in successful design wins for 2 large customers, including proof-of-concept of mm-wave radio link (10x reduced bill of material), with applications to include docking, video streaming, and wireless gigabit Ethernet.❖Created an evaluation kit to allow potential customers to test technology and determine its fit within their company (still in use today).

I worked on internal R&D projects for public safety and healthcare concepts as part of a rotational program. I created curriculum and taught internal cybersecurity classes. I led all networking security requirements on a large project for 1 year, and earned an internal certification for Project Management. I am proud to have:❖Recognized for network security design for multi-agency E-9-1-1 city-wide system, with work additionally resulting in approval of multiple Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL). Supported NYC Fire and Police Departments on network security requirements engineering, representing significant achievement.❖Provided rapid prototyping of health mobile applications using data analytics and app development, representing brand-new initiative for Northrup Grumman. Develop apps on the iPad that responded to specific healthcare needs. Conducted trade studies and provided thorough analysis of vendor solutions.

◤ Role: Served as Research Assistant during my Ph.D. within the school of Electrical and Computer engineering, focusing on RF electronics, RFID, as well as millimeter-wave circuits and antennas (5 years); coordinated research efforts and collaborated with industry sponsors for two projects➽Project 1: 3-D mm-wave Radio Frequency micro assembly (Toyota) ➽Project 2: 3D Integrated X-Band Filter using novel organic polymer materials (Raytheon) ◤ Selected Accomplishment: Published several journal, conference, and magazine publications as well as a book entitled "RFID-Enabled Sensor Design and Applications" ◤ Dissertation: "Integrated RF modules and passives on low-cost flexible materials for applications up to the millimeter wave frequency range"
