Development of pesticide residue analysis method using LCMSMS to simultaneously analyze more than two hundred pesticides in single injection. Research markets and add more pesticides to current method. Research and develop extraction methods for glyphosate analysis from herbal supplements.Development of micro extraction methods for analysis of phenoxy acids and chlorinated pesticides.Application of HILIC methodology for analysis of polar pesticides using LCMSMS. Provide maintenance and troubleshooting for instrumentation including but not limited to LCMSMS, GCMSMS, and HPLC. Perform periodical calibration and performance evaluation of LCMS instrument.

Designed and developed the aerosol generation, drying and sampling technology to prepare reference materials (standards) for quantifying Lead, Silicon, and Phosphorous for analysis of environmentally collected field samples using XRF and ICP/MS analysis. The standards were used by large air monitoring networks in US-EPA network including IMPROVE and SLAMS.

1.Speciation studies for SOA generated by ozonolysis of biogenic VOCs and their mixtures found in indoor and atmospheric environment, using solvent extraction and GC/MS methodologies. 2. Scent traps collected from mountain pine beetle infected ans non infected trees were collected, solvent extracted and VOCs were identified by GC/MS. (Collaborator: Desert Research Institute, Storm Peak Lab, CO and University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH)3. SOA generated from VOC mixtures were aged in presence of NH4+ and UV-VIS absorbance characteristics were studied.4. GC/MS methods for the identification of semiochemicals in flowering plants. Grading and teaching the enlisted curriculum as set by the course instructor. Preparation of unknowns for the undergraduate students, helping them in learning and mastering and evaluating the use of different analytical instruments and techniques involved in the estimation of the unknown(s) samples. Helping students gain insight on the synthesis and characterization of various transition metal complexes. Occasionally, I have also been presented with the opportunity for teaching of the main course curriculum in the absence of the course instructor. Additionally, I have helped evaluate and develop the course curriculum for undergraduate teaching labs.
