Engineering lead for the Digital Wealth API platform, which powers BlackRock's publicly and internally available web tools such as Advisor Center and iRetire. My primary job is to modify the OpenGL rendering pipeline to enable off-screen rendering using Mesa3D. This removes any dependency on the X-Window System and as a result of which, we can use HPC clusters for image processing.

My internship was under the guidance of Prof. Ambedkar Dukkipati, in the area of Algorithmic Algebra. I studied the Groebner Basis and its applications, mainly the Rainbow Connectivity and the Binomial Ideal from Graphs. I did an in-depth study of the Buchberger's Algorithm which is used to generate the Groebner Basis of a set of polynomials. I implemented the long division algorithm in C++ to calculate the quotient and remainder of an m-degree polynomial in n variables, divided by another polynomial. This is the looping step in the Buchberger's Algorithm.I studied the paper, Binomial Ideals from graphs (Farrar, 2000) which describes how to obtain an ideal I from a graph G, which encodes all the relations among all the spanning trees of G.
