Assist, advise, support and counsel the Executive, Board of Directors, committees of SCSU and any subsidiary or affiliate organizations.Assist the Executive, Board of Directors, committees and staff in maintaining and improving the organizations responsiveness to, advocacy for, and representation of its membership.Assist the Executive, Board of Directors, committees and related staff in the development and implementation of communications, media and government relations strategies to promote the organization to its members and to defend the interest and rights of students.Assist the Executive, Board of Directors, committees and related staff members in the preparation of the $3 million annual budgets and in maintaining the responsible fiscal management of the non-profit corporation.Coordinate the Members Health & Dental plan, including promotions, renewals, trend analysis, and program enhancementAssist with the development and implementation of bylaws, organizational policies, operating policies, procedures, annual goals, long-range plans, and objectives for all aspects of the organizationOversee operations of 2 fast-food restaurant and 1 full-service restaurantOversee the management and operations of a 48,000-square-foot buildingOversee the implementation of events, campaigns and services to members.Supervise a team of 8 full-time staff Attend regular meetings of the Executive, Board of Directors, and various committees.Advise, support and provide recommendations to members of the Executive in all areas of governance, including but not limited to: reviewing and revising bylaws, coordinating general meetings of the members, and otherwise responding directly to the members.Assist with, direct, and oversee volunteer recruitment, supervision and training.
